The Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Charleston, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, & Blues Dance Mailing List of Swing Buffalo (for Buffalo and the surrounding area)...

My script which generates the SwingBuffalo email needs to be moved onto a server, because I don't always open my laptop, and when I don't do that, the email doesn't automatically generate and I forget all about it. I'll try and move its generation onto my server at home so it will be more reliable. I'll also send out an email over the weekend, but I wanted to inform everyone of a couple of things that are happening tonight and this weekend.

Tonight, the Market Arcade is having their "Curtain Up!" 2008 Theater Celebration and two great bands are performing there: Babík and Ladies First Big Band. That starts at 10pm, so you have plenty of time to catch the beginning of Eight O'Clock Jump. Tomorrow, Rochester is having their Groove Juice Swing dance which I hear they have a live band for. Sunday is the Hamlin House Dance. Lots of opportunities to swing this weekend!
