OK. Lot's to divulge this week. Lindy Fix is still on TV. We had a record turnout this past Monday and it was tons o' fun! Arlette and Rob are teaching a one-time beginner Balboa class tomorrow at the monthly USABDA meeting & dance. UB's monthly dance has a LIVE BAND THIS SATURDAY! Our UB workshop has been going STRONG! Don't miss the classes this Sunday. Venus & Mark's Swing Schoolhouse is every Tuesday in the Month of February. The class size is small, so do not miss this opportunity for such instructive attention! The UB Wednesday dances have also been kickin' due entirely to the huge advertising campaign on campus. It's a great evening of dancing. There will also be a choice of dances coming up on Valentine's Day. For the next couple weeks, you can dance almost every night of the week! Sa-weet!

Beginner Jitterbug Lesson 8-8:30
This is the one and only lindy event in Buffalo and it's located just off Buffalo's famous Elmwood strip. Buffalo is finally on its way to establishing a lindy scene. For those of you who don't know, Lindy Hop is a form of swing dancing that came about in the late 20s and early 30s. It went through a resurgence in the mid to late 90s and is going strong across the US and dozens of other coutries. Swing dances featuring lindy are a very social event. Everyone dances with everyone, though it's not typicslly a dating venue. Swing is a lifestyle based on the pure joy of dance: focussed on fun. So bring your spirits and prepare to smile! Beginners are not only wanted, they are required! We need you to make this happen!
DJ'd swing music will feature Big Band, classic swing like the Rat Pack & Ella, Blues, & other popular contemporary swing music.
