Swing BuffaloSwing Buffalo is the Buffalo area’s number one swing dance organization for Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Balboa, and Charleston. Founded in 2007 by New Mexico dancer Rob Leach, it has steadily grown since then, firmly establishing Buffalo as a city that loves the lindy hop. With weekly dances, classes, and smaller study group settings, there is hardly a night of the week when the Swing Buffalo dancers aren’t out in full force. Everyone in the scene is extremely grateful to Rob for all of his hard work and dedication. He is the driving force behind Swing Buffalo, and his passion for Lindy and Balboa is obvious and infectious. We would be remiss, however, to not mention the growing input from the individual dancers in the scene. Swing Buffalo continually grows, and its members are traveling all across the U.S. and Canada to experience what other swing scenes have to offer, and to bring a little taste of it back to Buffalo. Swing Buffalo welcomes everyone to our first workshop weekend. We’re so glad that you’re going to be part of this exciting event. Keep swinging! |
